Questions and Answers
The question is best answered by reminding of what weird means:
circa 1400, "having power to control fate"
in weird sisters, from weird (noun), "force that sets events in motion or determines their course; what is destined to befall one"
from Old English wyrd: "fate, chance, fortune; destiny; the Fates"
In modern usage, the adjective means "of, relating to, or caused by witchcraft or the supernatural." It is a synonym for magical, odd, and fantastic.

The Story of Your Ankh
The Maginario logo was initially more abstract, containing no animals of any kind. A diamond or a pyramid crowned by a hovering ring above the spire. The bookmark icon is currently still represented by that version.
Then, there is the Homdor logo. The mark of the realm. A spiral with three outward dots or islands.
The logo which crowns the main pages of the website was a later addition. It was not so much created or designed as it has revealed itself, thus earning its place.
